Wakonda Farm offers different boarding packages to fit your needs

Basic Package

• Clean stalls daily

• Blankets are taken on and off as needed

• Horses are feed 3 times a day

• Horses are watered 3 times a day (more if needed in the hot summer months)

• Water buckets are scrubbed daily

• Daily turnout unless weather does not permit

• Medications administered if and as needed

Gold Package

• Silver package plus:

• Training including head setting and lounging to teach the horse to use himself properly while working

• Horse will be worked or ridden at a minmum of 3 times per week

• 2 lessons weekly on your horse or ours which ever is agreed upon by rider and trainer

Silver Package 

• Basic package plus:

• Excersing your horse 2 to 3 times weekly (hacking out)

• Brushing horse before and after working him or her

• Brushing horse before putting blanket back on

• Trimming whiskers, ears, bridle path and fetlocks

• Keeping mane kept

• Bathing after working if weather permits

• Keeping tail up and show ready (customers request)
